Logi Capture Not Working With Discord

1. Logi Capture Not Recognizing Your Webcam
Sometimes Logi Capture might struggle with recognizing and accessing the webcam connected to your system. This is likely because you’re using a different webcam than that of Logitech, which makes our software unable to recognize it. Make sure that the webcam you’re using is from Logitech by connecting it via USB before starting the program.
2. Reinstall the Logi Capture Software
Sometimes the Logi Capture software doesn’t have access to Discord, and you may be able to fix this by uninstalling and reinstalling the software. One of the reasons why this might happen is because there’s a glitch in the software or settings that are set to reset when you reinstall it again.
3. Modifying the Video Input Option
To start recording your screen in Discord, you need to make sure that it’s set to the Logi Capture video format in the Voice and Video setting. Setting the audio source is different for voice call and screen capture, but both are easily accessible from this same menu.
4. Administrator Access on Discord
If the above-mentioned hack didn’t work, then you’ll need to do some more debugging. To do this, try running your Discord as an Administrator.
You can do this by going to Discord > Settings > Properties > Compatibility Tab > Administrator, then clicking OK. By doing this you are permitting the Discord app to access the Logi Capture software.

You do this by going to Settings > Compatibility Tab > Admin and then click OK. By doing this you’re allowing Discord to access other software including Logi Capture.
5. Check Your System’s Privacy Settings
In order to use your Logitech Webcam and Logi Capture, you first need to make sure the camera is enabled in your system settings and that it has access to the Webcam. Then, go back into Discord and check for errors.
You must first make sure your system has granted access to your Camera in order for this to work.
You can switch the setting on in Windows Control Panel -> System -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager where you will find “Logitech Webcam” that you need to grant or change access. Once you have done this, relaunch Discord and make sure it is working as intended.
